2021 Northwest Mini Enduro Championship Series
The deciding race for the Northwest Mini Enduro Championship Series (NWMECS) was run on October 16, 2021, at Portland International Raceway. Our Colonel Red Racing/Subaru of Bend STI was entered in the 2- and 4-hour Enduros, and in the simultaneous 46th annual eight hours of the cascades Enduro. The race attracted pro level teams, all vying for the same goal: to be crowned champions. The stunning, custom-built Subaru STI that we raced was matched up against fierce competition in its class such as the Mercedes-Benz AMG FIA GT4, setting the scene for an exciting race. After conquering inclement weather and many in-race obstacles during the 2-hour race, the Subaru of Bend STI driven by the professionals at Colonel Red Racing had collected enough series points to win the NWMECS championship.
