Meet the upcoming 2019 Subaru Ascent three-row SUV

Last time we blogged about the upcoming 2019 Subaru Ascent it was April of last year and the model was still in concept mode. Several months ago the production model of the Ascent was finally revealed and it's set to start arriving at dealerships June of this year. As with most concept vehicles, the final version was toned down, but it has a pleasing design that fits in with the Subaru design language.

The Ascent is a three-row SUV/crossover and it will fit seven or eight passengers, depending on which of the four trims you choose. The Outback used to be the option for families, but some outgrew the model which meant they had to go with rival three-row vehicles like the Honda Pilot or Toyota Highlander. Now that there is the Ascent, we expect to see those former Subaru customers coming back!
